has hurt the economy? I don't think that's possible.

You mean Barney Frank and the other dems who were pushing hard for Fannie
and Freddie to give bad loans to people who couldn't afford them?

The same Democrats who resisted all Republican efforts to stop doing it a
few years ago, when this could have been reduced in impact?
